Taro Latte with Matcha Cream Recipe

A vibrant iced latte featuring the sweet, earthy flavour of taro, creamy milk, and a rich matcha cream topping—delivering both eye-catching colour and satisfying taste.


Ingredients (1 Serving)

  • Taro Powder – 35g

  • Hot Water – Enough to dissolve taro powder

  • Cold Milk – 180ml

  • Ice Cubes – 130g

  • Matcha Cream – For topping

Matcha Cream Ingredients

  • Thickened Cream

  • Matcha 100% Powder – 5g

  • Milk – 20ml


Instructions

Prepare the Taro Base

  1. In a 16oz cup, mix 35g of taro powder with a small amount of hot water until fully dissolved.

  2. Add 180ml of milk and stir well.

Add Ice

  1. Add 130g of ice cubes to the cup.

Make the Matcha Cream

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine thickened cream, 5g of matcha powder, and 20ml of milk.

  2. Whisk until smooth and slightly thickened for a pourable yet rich consistency.

Top with Matcha Cream

  1. Gently pour or spoon a flat layer of matcha cream over the taro latte.
